Note: I deeply respect the wisdom shared by my teachers, but what truly matters is not just what they imparted, but what I chose to learn, embrace, and apply from their teachings
What Is Mine? What Is Yours?
Life is a flowing river of moments, shaped by the teachers, friends, and experiences we encounter. My journey has been touched by countless hands: Mr. Sheraz Ahmad Teeli, who instilled hope and purpose; Showkat Kathjoo, who guided me to explore identity; Surpa Salthia, who gifted love; Rakesh Kumar, who taught calmness; and Nowshaad Gayoor, who brought the joy of entertainment.
In my higher studies, Sanchayan Ghosh taught me about society and encouraged me to critically rethink its structures. Inder Salim inspired me to embrace the concept of liberty, Hilal Khan helped me refine my techniques, and Shafi Chaman guided me through the nuances of modification. While I deeply treasure the lessons imparted by these esteemed teachers, my search for deeper meaning continues.
Liberty feels within reach, but society, politics, and spirituality often pull it away. Memories provide joy, but they anchor us in the constraints of time. Tracing it all back, I realize that nothing is truly mine—not this body, not this name, not these skills or breaths, not even this time or place.
So, what is truly “mine” or “yours”? Is it infinity, an eternal mystery beyond comprehension? Or is it nothingness, the ultimate absence? Perhaps the answer lies in accepting that the mystery is ours—a shared, infinite enigma that defies ownership or understanding.
In this search, perspective dissolves. God? Perhaps. Nothingness? Maybe. What remains is a question, infinite yet impossible to answer.
Thus, what is mine, and what is yours? Infinity or nothing? The answer is both—and neither. The journey is a masterpiece. The mystery is our own. Is It?
